Die Gold Mount Akkuplatte wird an der Rückseite der Sony FX9 Kamera befestigt und versorgt die Kamera mit der richtigen Batteriespannung und Stromstärke. Der Anschluss an die Kamera erfolgt über das D-Tap-Stromkabel mit 19,5 V für die Sony FX9. Das Kabel reguliert die Spannung auf die richtigen 19,5 V.
