Das DPA 2012 Compact Cardioid Microphone ist ein kompaktes Allround-Mikrofon mit Nierencharakteristik das sich hervorragend zur Abnahme von einzelnen Instrumenten auf einer Livebühne eignet. Der für DPA typische lineare Off-Axis-Frequenzgang verschafft dem Mikrofon eine hohe Beständigkeit gegen Rückkopplungen und Übersprechen von anderen Instrumenten in der Nähe.
