Der RUB VL ist Teil des modularen Systems der RUBIDIUM Serie 1, das Flexibilität, Zukunftssicherheit und Langlebigkeit bietet. Der RUB XV ist ein Timecode-Inserter und -Konverter, der für die Arbeit mit verschiedenen Videoformaten entwickelt wurde.  Alle Timecode- und Datenformate werden von einem eingebauten Leser und Generator verarbeitet, der mit den EBU/SMPTE-Standards konform ist.
