Full Frame Cameras

Full-frame sensors offer a look that is visually most similar to 35mm film cameras. This is why full-frame sensors are preferred in professional digital cine-cams & DSLM cameras. Due to their size, full-frame sensors offer higher light sensitivity and produce lower image noise than other sensor formats. Full frame sensors have a larger surface area, so more light hits the sensor. Likewise, full frame sensors have higher resolution and a larger image area than formats like Super35, APS-C, or Micro Four Thirds.
