Die SmallRig 4002 15 mm Dovetail Baseplate ist eine 15-mm-Schwalbenschwanz-Grundplatte. Die Kamera wird über eine 1/4"-20 Schraube und eine 3/8"-16 Schraube mit der Platte verbunden. Die Grundplatte verfügt über eine 1/4"-20-Gewindebohrung und eine 3/8"-16-Gewindebohrung an der Unterseite, die Schnellwechselplatten unterstützt. Durch den niedrigen Schwerpunkt wird die Höhe der Kamera gesenkt und gleichzeitig Platz für zwei Stangen geschaffen. Der eingebaute Schraubenschlüssel sorgt für eine einfache Montage und Demontage.
